The rules for using OriginStats.
OriginStats ("OriginStats", "we", "us", "our") provides the service described in these Terms. These Terms are an agreement between you and OriginStats. By accessing OriginStats you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these Terms from time to time; we will post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date, and for material changes we may also notify you or ask you to re-accept. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance.
OriginStats provides football statistics, model outputs, market context, and historical outcome summaries for general informational purposes only. OriginStats does not accept, place, broker or settle bets or wagers of any kind, does not hold funds on your behalf other than the US$ balance described at clause 8A, does not process payments that depend on the outcome of any match, and does not provide personal financial advice or assure outcomes. We do charge for subscriptions and for Origin Coins, as described at clauses 6 and 8; those are payments for access to the service and to content within it, and are not connected to the outcome of any match.
The service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. You may use the service only if you are at least 18 years old, meet any higher legal age requirement in your location, and your use is lawful where you access it. You must understand and follow the rules that apply to your own use of sports information services.
Model signals and statistics are not personal recommendations and do not account for your circumstances. Market values can move quickly, data can be delayed or inaccurate, and model outputs can be wrong. You alone decide how to use the information. Past performance does not assure future results.
Use analytics with care. If decisions around sports outcomes are affecting you or someone you know, seek support from qualified local services.
Subscription terms, renewal prices, taxes, and available payment methods are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected plan price unless cancelled before the current billing period ends. You may manage or cancel your subscription from your account page or your payment processor's billing portal. Refunds for partial periods are not provided except where required by law.
A promo code is the name of a link published by a person who promotes OriginStats; you may enter it on the Site, or arrive through that link. Each account may use one promo code, once. A promo code gives your account membership, free of charge, for the rest of the day on which it starts and the 30 days after it; a day here runs from 4:01am UTC to 4:01am UTC the next day. No payment details are taken and nothing renews: when those days end, your account is a free account again unless you take a subscription under clause 6. Where your email address is not yet verified, the membership starts once you verify it. A promo code cannot be used by an account that already holds a paid subscription, a free trial or free access, or by the account of the person whose link it is, and an account that has used a promo code is not offered a free trial afterwards. We may stop a promo code at any time; a membership already started under it runs to its end.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
The Experts and competition features, including the FantasyCup, OriginArena, OriginDaily and FantasyLive, are available only to users 18 years of age or older. Predictions published or unlocked through these features are informational only and do not constitute financial or investment advice, and nothing in these features involves a bet, a wager, or a payment that depends on the outcome of any match. Origin Coins may be purchased with money. Once purchased, earned or granted, Origin Coins cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, exchanged, cashed out, or transferred back into money or any other consideration, and they carry no cash redemption value. Origin Coins are spent only to unlock analysis and, where the Site shows a price for it, to comment on an Expert's analysis. Origin Coins cannot be converted into your US$ balance described at clause 8A, and your US$ balance cannot be converted into Origin Coins. Purchases of Origin Coins are final and non-refundable to your payment method; the only circumstance in which Origin Coins are returned to your balance is an automatic void refund: where you unlocked an Expert's daily set, when every prediction in that set is voided, and where you unlocked an Expert's predictions on one match, when that match's predictions are voided, in each case because the match was postponed, abandoned or cancelled. A result that lands exactly on the handicap or total is not a void and does not trigger that refund. Referral Coins are a promotional class of Origin Coins, issued to you under the referral programme rather than purchased with money. Referral Coins expire 90 days after they become available for you to spend, and we will notify you inside the service in advance of that date. When you spend Origin Coins, we deduct from any promotional Referral Coins in your balance before we deduct from purchased Origin Coins, and among Referral Coins we deduct from whichever are due to expire soonest, so that your own money is not consumed while a promotional balance sits beside it and dies unused. Purchased Origin Coins do not expire, and a reversal of a referral reward never deducts Origin Coins you purchased.
Your US$ balance is a balance recorded in United States dollars and cents. A withdrawal from it is paid out only in USDT, on a network listed below, at one USDT for each United States dollar paid out to you. USDT is a digital dollar — 1 USDT is designed to track US$1 — and we make no promise about its value. It is credited with the competition rewards described at clause 9, with the proceeds of analysis you sell as an Expert (which include what readers pay to comment on that analysis), and with any correction or adjustment we make under these Terms. It is separate from Origin Coins: no part of it can be converted into Origin Coins or used to unlock analysis, and no Origin Coins can be converted into it. You may spend it in the OriginStats shop under clauses 10 and 10A, once you have verified your identity as clause 9.14 requires. Where and while we make withdrawals available on the Site, you may also ask to withdraw it to a wallet address you give us on a network we support: Tron (TRC-20). A withdrawal is subject to the following. A platform fee of 15% and a service fee of 5% of the amount you ask to withdraw are deducted from it, and both are shown to you before you confirm. The service fee covers the network fee for sending the transfer, which we bear, so the amount shown to you as what you receive is the amount we send. The minimum withdrawal is US$50.00. When an amount becomes withdrawable depends on how it was credited. A competition reward, a check-in credit and any other credit can be withdrawn at once. The proceeds of analysis you sell as an Expert become withdrawable in two parts: 80% of each sale 90 days after it was credited, and the rest 120 days after it was credited. An amount spent in the shop and later returned to your balance keeps the timing of the amount it came from. A competition reward, a check-in credit or any other credit can be spent in the shop straight away. The proceeds of analysis you sell as an Expert can be spent in the shop only once, and to the extent that, they have become withdrawable. You may have one withdrawal request open at a time. Withdrawals are subject to limits we may set from time to time, including a maximum for one request, a maximum for each account over a period, and a maximum we pay out in a day; a request above a limit may be refused, and a payout may wait until a person approves it. A withdrawal to a wallet address to which we have not paid you before may be held for a period before it is sent. Before your first withdrawal, and for every later withdrawal while that verification remains valid, you must have verified your identity through Settlane, our payment and verification processor, whose identity-verification provider checks a government photo ID, a live selfie, and whether the same face is already registered to another account. Settlane keeps the result of that check, the country and type of the document, and whether its date of birth matches the one on your account; we read from Settlane whether you are verified, and if you have not given us a date of birth, we record the one shown on an approved document. Neither we nor Settlane keep the images, your name as read from the document, or the document number. The provider keeps an image-free face template for up to 5 years so that one person cannot hold more than one account, and where a check needs review we may delay your withdrawals, and pause the accounts involved, until it is resolved. Withdrawals are paid by Settlane from our wallet. Every request is checked before it is accepted and again before it is paid, and may be refused or delayed at either stage where you are not eligible under clause 3, where 9.14 or 9.15 applies, on any ground on which a redemption in the shop would be refused, or where the wallet address you give us appears on a sanctions list that is checked, on a list of frozen addresses kept by a stablecoin issuer or on a list of addresses that are not paid; a request to an address another account has given waits for a person's approval. If we cannot pay to an address, we tell you so, not the reason. To check an address, Settlane may send it to a third-party blockchain data provider. A request that you cancel before its payment has started is returned to your balance with the expiry dates it had before; any part whose expiry date passed while the request was open is returned already expired. A request that we refuse is returned to your balance in the same way, except that any part whose expiry date passed while the request was open is returned with a new expiry date 30 days after the refusal. You are responsible for the wallet address and network you give us: a transfer sent to the address and network you confirmed cannot be recalled, and we are not responsible for a loss that follows from an address or network you gave us in error. Amounts in your US$ balance expire two years after the end of the month in which they were credited, as set out at 9.13A, whether or not they have become withdrawable.
9.1 Nature of the rewards. OriginStats competition rewards (described as "gold", "silver" and "bronze" placements) are promotional rewards credited to your US$ balance under clause 8A. They are not a deposit, not winnings from a bet or wager, and not a financial product. A reward may be spent in the OriginStats shop, and may be withdrawn only as clause 8A allows; nothing in this clause creates any other entitlement to money.
9.2 Free entry; skill, not chance. Entry to every competition is free. No purchase, subscription or payment of any kind is required to enter, to remain eligible, or to receive a reward, and paying for any product does not improve your prospects. Placement is determined by the criteria at 9.5, which rank accounts on the measured performance of their published predictions, and by the participation requirements at 9.6. Where those criteria cannot separate two accounts at a placement that carries a reward, the placement is decided as set out at 9.5. The competitions are accordingly competitions of skill and are not a lottery, a game of chance, or betting or gambling of any kind.
9.3 Eligibility. You must be 18 years of age or older and must satisfy clause 3 (Eligibility and local laws). We may exclude accounts held by our personnel, contractors or their immediate households. This exclusion does not extend to accounts operated by OriginStats itself, which are addressed at 9.4.
9.4 Competitions and who takes part. Weekly and monthly competitions run concurrently, each as a single division open to every eligible account, including accounts identified as an Expert, which compete in it for the same rewards as every other account. OriginStats also operates accounts on the service that publish predictions and take part in these competitions on the same terms as any other account. Those accounts are ranked alongside yours and may place, may occupy a placement that carries a reward, and may earn promotion. Where one of them places, accounts below it are placed lower than they would otherwise have been, and fewer rewards are available to other accounts in that period as a result. We do not identify which accounts these are. Rewards allocated to an account operated by OriginStats are never redeemed or withdrawn and confer no benefit on any user.
9.5 How placement is determined. Within each competition, accounts are ranked first by win rate; then, where win rates are equal, by average profit percentage (shown on the Site as "Avg Profit %"); then, where those are also equal, by the number of settled predictions; and then, where all of the foregoing are equal, an account that competed as an Expert during the relevant period is placed above one that did not. Where two or more accounts are still equal on all of these criteria at a placement that carries a reward, our team reviews that placement and decides it. Win rate is the proportion of your decided predictions that succeed, a prediction being decided only where it produced a win or a loss. A prediction whose stake is returned in full is disregarded in calculating win rate, and adds nothing to your profit, and so neither helps nor harms you. A prediction is settled where the match was played and the prediction resolved, including where the result falls exactly on the handicap or total and the stake is returned; a prediction on a match that is postponed, abandoned or cancelled is void: it is disregarded in calculating win rate, average profit percentage and the number of settled predictions at the third criterion, but it counts toward the minimum participation requirement at 9.6 that predictions settle. For the purposes of average profit percentage, every prediction you publish carries the same fixed notional stake of play money, published on the Site, and there is no limit on the number of predictions you may publish in a day or on the total notionally staked: four predictions on one day place four times that stake at risk. Average profit percentage is your total profit or loss over the relevant period divided by the total notional stake actually at risk in that period, expressed as a percentage; it does not rise merely because you published more predictions. Where a stake is returned in full it is disregarded in both the profit and the stake at risk; where half of a stake is returned, only the half that was at risk is counted. For example, at a published stake of 50,000, four predictions of which three win at a price of 1.90 and one loses produce a profit of 85,000 on 200,000 at risk, an average profit percentage of +42.5%. The notional stake is not money, cannot be withdrawn or accumulated, and exists only to measure average profit percentage. In each weekly and monthly competition, rewards are awarded to up to three placements, as published on the Site; the OriginArena reward is set out at 9.20, the OriginDaily prize pool at 9.21 and the FantasyLive prize at 9.22. The specific reward amounts are those published on the Site from time to time and are not fixed by these Terms.
9.6 Minimum participation. Eligibility for a reward requires both publishing predictions on a minimum number of separate days and having a minimum number of predictions settle, within the relevant period, as published on the Site. Both requirements apply to every account, including accounts identified as an Expert. An account that does not meet them is placed below every account that does, and is not eligible for a reward, whatever its win rate. A void prediction under 9.5 counts toward the requirement that predictions settle. In each weekly and monthly competition, an account is also eligible for a reward only where its average profit percentage for the period, determined under 9.5, is above zero. An account that does not meet this keeps its placement, but no reward is paid for that placement, the reward does not pass to the account placed below it, and the account is not promoted to Expert from that placement.
9.7 One reward per period. No account may receive more than one reward per competition period. A placement that carries no reward, for any reason, does not pass to any other account, and no other account is moved up in its place.
9.8 Unfilled placements. Where a competition period closes with fewer eligible accounts than there are placements, the unfilled placements are not awarded and no substitute reward is payable. Published reward amounts represent a maximum, not a guaranteed distribution, and a competition may award fewer rewards in a period than it has placements, under this clause or under 9.7.
9.9 Comparison against our model. Outperforming any OriginStats model or signal is not a condition of eligibility for any reward and does not affect placement. Any badge or recognition associated with such a comparison confers no entitlement to a reward.
9.10 Promotion to Expert. The highest ten placements in a monthly competition may be promoted to Expert status. Weekly competitions do not confer promotion. An account that is the last account remaining in 5 OriginArena rooms under 9.20 within any period of 90 days may also be promoted to Expert status; a room counts toward that number only once its reward has been paid, so a room whose reward is held or not yet paid counts from the day it is paid, and a room whose reward we withheld under 9.15 never counts; a promotion already made is not reversed for that reason alone. Promotion is a change of account status only, confers no entitlement to any reward, and may be withheld or reversed under 9.15.
9.11 Retired competitions. Competitions other than the weekly and monthly competitions, OriginArena, OriginDaily and FantasyLive, including the quarterly, seasonal and league tier competitions and the annual championship, were withdrawn on 21 September 2026. Rankings narrowed to a group of leagues continue to be published for information only and carry no reward, promotion or entry. No reward, promotion or championship entry accrues from a withdrawn competition, including for any period of it that was under way on that date.
9.11A End of the Expert division. The Expert division of the weekly and monthly competitions, and the rewards published for it, ended on 21 September 2026. No reward is payable in respect of the Expert division for any weekly or monthly competition period whose close is completed on or after that date, whether that period was under way on that date or had ended and was awaiting settlement: every such period closes with the single division at 9.4. From that date an account identified as an Expert competes in that single division for the same rewards as every other account. A reward already credited before that date stands, and promotion to Expert status under 9.10 is unchanged.
9.12 Crediting and correction. Rewards are credited automatically to your US$ balance when the relevant period closes; no claim is required. We may correct an entry that was credited in error, including by making a corresponding adjusting entry to your balance, and may recover an amount credited in error or as a result of any conduct described at 9.15. Where an adjustment would reduce your balance below zero we may recover the shortfall from subsequent credits.
9.13 Use of your US$ balance in the shop. Your US$ balance may be used to obtain items made available in the OriginStats shop, subject to availability, and clause 10 governs those items. Outside the shop it may be used only as clause 8A allows. It may not be sold, assigned, gifted or transferred to any other person or account. Most items are available to every user. Some items are restricted to accounts holding membership (a subscription, including a free trial, or free access), to accounts holding Expert status, or to either, and the shop marks any item that is restricted before you redeem it; the restriction is applied at the time you redeem. All items remain visible to every user, and the US$ balance you have earned is not forfeited or reduced by the absence of membership or of Expert status. Once you have redeemed an item we will fulfil it under clause 10 even if your membership ends before fulfilment is complete. We may change which items are restricted, and on what basis, under 9.16; a change takes effect when it is published and does not affect an item you have already redeemed.
9.13A Expiry of your US$ balance. Amounts credited to your US$ balance expire two years after the end of the month in which they were credited to your account. Our month changes over at 4:01am UTC on the 1st, not at midnight UTC: an amount credited at or after 4:01am UTC on the 1st of a month counts toward that new month, while an amount credited earlier the same day, before 4:01am UTC, counts toward the month before. For example, an amount credited at any time from 4:01am UTC on 1 August 2026 up to just before 4:01am UTC on 1 September 2026 expires at the end of August 2028, while an amount credited at 2am UTC on 1 August 2026 counts toward July and so expires at the end of July 2028. When you redeem in the shop or withdraw, we deduct from whichever of the amounts you may use for it are due to expire soonest, so that nothing expires while an earlier-expiring amount sits unused. We will notify you inside the service, in advance of expiry, when part of your US$ balance is due to expire within 30 days and again within 7 days, stating the amount due to expire and the date. An amount that expires is removed from your balance and cannot be spent, withdrawn, restored or compensated, except as follows. Where we refuse a withdrawal request, an amount that expired while the request was open is returned as clause 8A sets out. Where we reverse a redemption because you changed your mind or ordered the wrong item, the returned amount resumes the expiry date it already had, whether or not that date has since passed. Where we reverse a redemption for any other reason, including because we could not supply the item, fulfilment failed, or we suspended it while reviewing your account, the returned amount is given an expiry date at least 30 days after the date of the reversal, so that a return we are responsible for cannot hand you back an amount with no practical time to use it. Nothing in this clause limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law.
9.14 Verification. We may require you to confirm or verify your identity, age or eligibility before a reward is credited or an item is fulfilled, and may withhold a reward pending that confirmation. We ask for your date of birth when you create an account, and we check it against the minimum age at 9.3. Accounts created before we began asking may not have given one; where that is so, we ask for it before we credit a redemption or take a payment from you, and your eligibility rests on your acceptance of these Terms until you give it. Before your first redemption in the shop, and for every later redemption while that verification remains valid, you must have verified your identity through Settlane in the way clause 8A describes for withdrawals, and the result must have been approved; we may refuse a redemption until it is. Where the document shows a date of birth, that is the date we rely on. If the date of birth on your account is wrong, you may ask us to correct it from your account settings; we may ask you to verify your identity first, and the date changes only when we approve the correction.
9.15 Abuse and disqualification. We may withhold, delay, reverse or refuse a reward, disqualify an account from a competition or from promotion, and suspend or terminate an account, where we reasonably suspect the operation of duplicate or linked accounts, reward farming, collusion or coordinated play, reciprocal following, manipulation of the timing or content of predictions, interference with settlement or scoring, or any other conduct that abuses or circumvents these features or their intended operation.
9.16 Changes and discontinuation. We may add, alter, suspend, shorten, extend or discontinue any competition, division, period, format, minimum participation requirement, published reward amount, or the OriginStats shop and its contents. A change to the minimum participation requirements at 9.6 takes effect only for competition periods beginning after the change is published; a period already under way is judged by the requirements in force when it began, and we cannot raise a bar you have already met. A change to the placement criteria at 9.5 may take effect for a competition period already under way, and where it does it is applied to every competitor in that period on the same basis, so that the figure shown against a placement is always the figure the placement was decided on. Where we change the placement criteria at 9.5 we may also restate, on the new basis, the figures shown for competition periods that have already closed, so that every figure on the Site is measured in the same way; such a restatement does not alter any placement already decided or any reward already credited, and the placement of a closed period remains the one decided under the criteria then in force. Other changes may take effect at any time. Where a competition period is discontinued before it closes, no reward is payable in respect of it. Changes do not apply retrospectively to a reward already credited except as permitted by 9.12.
9.17 Closure of your account. Where we suspend or terminate your account under 9.15, or where you are in material breach of these Terms, any unused US$ balance is forfeited and no compensation is payable. Where your account is closed for any other reason, including at your own request or on our discontinuing the service, we will give you a reasonable opportunity of not less than thirty days to use your US$ balance before it lapses, unless we are prevented from doing so by law. Nothing in this clause limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law.
9.18 Taxes. You are solely responsible for determining and discharging any tax or similar liability arising from your receipt, use or withdrawal of your US$ balance or of any item obtained with it.
9.19 Decisions and your rights. Our determinations as to placement, eligibility, disqualification and the crediting of rewards are final, save in the case of manifest error or where we exercise our rights under 9.12. Nothing in this clause limits or excludes any right you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
9.20 OriginArena. OriginArena is a competition of skill played over one weekend in rooms, shown on the Site as brackets, of up to eight accounts. Entry is free and no purchase improves your prospects. You may ask to be reminded of a coming weekend; a reminder is optional and free, keeps no place in a room, and may be stopped before the Friday. You enter on the Friday or the Saturday of a weekend, and only then, by choosing one of the sets of matches OriginStats offers that day and publishing one analysis on each of its six matches; publishing those analyses places your account in a room with accounts that entered on the same day. Each account may enter one room in a weekend, on its Friday or its Saturday, and one further room on a different set, on the Friday or the Saturday, where it holds an extra entry earned by inviting another person who opens and verifies an account. A room is played over three rounds, one on each of three game days in a row starting on the day it was entered: the Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a room entered on the Friday, and the Saturday, Sunday and Monday for a room entered on the Saturday; in each round every account remaining in the room publishes analyses of the same six matches; those analyses close thirty minutes before the first of that round's matches starts and may be changed until then. In each round the accounts remaining are paired, and in each pair the account with the higher win rate on that round's matches advances and the other is eliminated; where win rates are equal the higher average profit percentage (shown on the Site as "Avg Profit %") advances, then the account with more settled analyses, then an Expert over a non-Expert, and where all of these are equal the outcome is decided by a random draw that does not measure performance. That order does not apply where both accounts in a pair published analyses for that round and neither has one on that round's matches that won or lost, in whole or in part: neither account in that pair advances, and an account left without an opponent in the next round as a result advances if it publishes analyses for that round. Where no account that published analyses for a round has one that won or lost, the room ends at that round and no reward is paid for it. An account whose opponent publishes no analyses advances; where neither publishes, both are eliminated. An account that publishes no analyses before the first round closes leaves the room and is not barred, and an account may leave a room before its first round closes and is not barred for doing so; in either case the entry it used for that room stays used for that weekend, so the account may not enter another room that weekend with that entry and may return only to the same room, while that room still has a place and its first round has not closed. Where OriginStats cancels a room, or voids it before any of its rounds is decided, the entries used for it are not used up. An account that publishes no analyses before a later round closes is eliminated and is barred from entering OriginArena for a number of weekends that increases with each such failure within the preceding ninety days; failures in more than one room in the same weekend count once, an account eliminated because the matches for a round were replaced before it closed is not barred, and we may lift a bar, in which case it is not counted against the account again. Where OriginStats cannot offer matches for a round on its game day, the room ends at that round, no account in it is barred and no reward is paid for it; a round is never moved to another day. Accounts operated by OriginStats may be placed in a room and may win it, on the terms at 9.4. For a weekend beginning on or after 16 October 2026, the last account remaining in each room of that weekend shares one prize pool for that weekend in equal amounts with the last account remaining in every other room of that weekend, whichever day each room was entered; the pool is the amount published on the Site from time to time, the amount published for a weekend is not reduced once a room of that weekend has opened, and any part of the pool that cannot be divided equally to the cent is not paid. Each share is credited under 9.12 once every room of that weekend has finished, ordinarily on the Monday. For an earlier weekend, the last account remaining in each room is credited a reward, in the amount published on the Site at the time, under 9.12. A share or reward may be withheld, delayed or reversed under 9.15, including where accounts in one room appear to be linked, and a share withheld is not divided among the other accounts. Analyses published in OriginArena do not count toward any other competition, ranking or record on the Site.
9.21 OriginDaily. OriginDaily is a competition of skill that runs once each game day. Entry is free and no purchase improves your prospects. Each account may make one entry a game day in each sport, and no more than three entries a game day across all sports, plus any extra entries it is given under this clause. When you choose to play, OriginStats draws three matches for your account at random from the matches it publishes for that day that kick off closest to a set hour of the evening in your own time zone; another account may be given different matches. An entry is one analysis on each of those three matches, and it closes thirty minutes before the first of them starts; after that it cannot be changed. An entry in which every analysis that counts was right shares that day's prize pool equally with every other such entry. An analysis is right only when it wins in full; it is not right when it loses, half-loses or half-wins, or when the result lands exactly on the line. From game day 16 October 2026, where a match in an entry is postponed, abandoned or otherwise not decided after the entry has closed, including at the moment it closes, that entry is void: it shares nothing and is neither right nor wrong, and the same applies to every entry on a day whose competition we cancel under 9.16. For each such entry the account that made it is given one extra entry in the same sport, which it keeps until it uses it and may use on any later game day of that sport once its entry for that day has closed; an extra entry is a further entry on the same terms as any other, a share it earns is a share like any other, it does not count toward the three entries a game day across all sports, and none is given for a practice game or to an account operated by OriginStats. On game days before 16 October 2026, an analysis whose match was postponed, abandoned or otherwise not decided after the entry had closed, including at the moment it closed, did not count: that match was left out of the entry, whose other analyses decided it, and an entry whose matches were all postponed, abandoned or otherwise not decided was void and shared nothing. On game days before 15 October 2026, an analysis that half-won was right, and a result exactly on the line counted as neither right nor wrong. Each share is rounded down to the cent, and any amount left over is not added to any prize pool. The base amount of the prize pool, and the most a prize pool can be, are published on the Site. A prize pool never exceeds that maximum: any amount that would take a prize pool above it is not added to any prize pool, and a prize pool that has reached it stays at it until a day on which an entry qualifies. Days are settled in date order: where an earlier day has not finished when a day is settled, that day's prize pool is its base amount alone, and any amount the earlier day adds goes to the next prize pool. Where no entry on a day qualifies, or where we cancel that day's competition under 9.16, no share is paid for that day and its whole prize pool is added to the next prize pool; a match postponed or called off before an entry holding it has closed is replaced in that entry with another where one is available; where none is available, the matches drawn for your account are withdrawn and you may play again that day. A day on which OriginStats cannot select enough matches is a rest day and has no prize pool. A share is credited under 9.12 and may be withheld, delayed or reversed under 9.15, including where accounts entering on the same day appear to be linked; a share that is not paid is added to a later prize pool. Accounts operated by OriginStats enter and may share a prize pool, on the terms at 9.4. Analyses made in OriginDaily do not count toward any other competition, ranking or record on the Site. Where OriginDaily runs on a sport other than football, each sport is its own game with its own matches, prize pool and result, and a prize pool never moves between sports. On tennis, a match a player retires from doesn't count for the Handicap and Over / Under choices on it, and from game day 16 October 2026 an entry holding such a choice is void as above. On MMA, a draw is not right for a Fight Winner choice. OriginDaily may offer practice games, which pay nothing and count for nothing. Where a player has chosen all three matches but not sent them, OriginDaily may send them when entries close.
9.22 FantasyLive. FantasyLive is a competition of skill played on a football match while it is being played. Entry is free and no purchase improves your prospects. When you ask to play, OriginStats places your account in a room within two minutes, together with any other accounts that asked to play the same part of the same match in the same way (a prize game or practice, as described below) and with accounts operated by OriginStats; a room holds up to twenty accounts, and a room with fewer than two accounts when it is due to start, or that OriginStats cannot start within a minute of when it is due, is cancelled, in which case your account may ask to play again. When it asks to play, an account chooses a prize game or practice. Each account may play up to three prize games in each game day; a prize game counts once its room is found, and a request withdrawn before its room is found, a room cancelled before it starts and a room cancelled because OriginStats cannot follow the match or its odds do not count. Practice may be played without limit, is played only in rooms of accounts that chose practice, and pays no prize. Each account may play in one room at a time. Every account in a room starts with the same number of play credits, published on the Site. Play credits are not money, have no value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred, redeemed or converted into Origin Coins, your US$ balance or anything else, and lapse when the room ends. Until the half-time or full-time whistle of the part of the match the room names, added time included, extra time and penalties excluded, accounts place free paper bets with play credits on outcomes of the match, at odds set by OriginStats from third-party sources, and may cash out a paper bet before that whistle. The stake of a paper bet is limited to the amounts published on the Site for one paper bet, for one outcome and for one side of the match. A paper bet is placed, and a paper bet is cashed out, at the odds a few seconds after it is requested; odds may lag the match, and placing and cashing out are paused around goals, red cards, penalties and video reviews, while play is stopped and while odds are out of date, and end at the whistle. After that whistle every open paper bet is settled at the odds it was placed at. A paper bet on the score of the match is settled on the official result of that part, as reported by a third-party results provider used by OriginStats, or, where no such result has been reported five minutes after the whistle, by OriginStats on the score of that part at the end of its regulation time, extra time and penalties excluded; a paper bet on corners, cards or other match statistics is settled on the official statistics of that part, as reported by that provider, usually within forty-eight hours of the whistle. A paper bet that the official result cannot settle, or has not settled seventy-two hours after the whistle, is settled by OriginStats on the score of that part, and a paper bet that the score cannot decide is settled at its stake. Where a paper bet was placed at odds that a data partner of OriginStats both sets and settles, it is settled on that partner's official result instead, and the five-minute rule above does not apply; if no such result is reported, OriginStats settles it within seventy-two hours of the whistle on the score of that part under these Terms, and a result the partner later withdraws is reviewed by OriginStats. A paper bet cashed out before the whistle stands at its cash-out value. Nothing in a room is shown as a result, and no prize is credited, until every paper bet in it is settled. Before the whistle, an outcome the score has already decided is valued by the score. An account's total is its unused play credits plus the cash-out value of its open paper bets; an account is ranked only if it placed at least three paper bets, each with a stake of at least the minimum stake for a counted bet published on the Site. A paper bet stakes only play credits and pays only play credits: it is not a bet or wager within clause 2, and nothing of value is staked on it or paid on it. In a prize game, only a ranked account can win a prize: the prize published on the Site is credited under 9.12 to the ranked account with the highest total in the room; where two or more ranked accounts share the highest total the prize is split equally between them, each share rounded down to the cent, and any amount left over is not paid. A prize may be withheld, delayed or reversed under 9.15, including where accounts in one room appear to be linked or where paper bets appear to have been placed with knowledge of events in the match before the odds reflected them. Accounts operated by OriginStats take part and may win, on the terms at 9.4. Where OriginStats cannot follow the match or its odds, it may cancel a room, in which case no prize is paid for it, or cancel the game under 9.16. Paper bets in FantasyLive do not count toward any other competition, ranking or record on the Site.
Items obtained with your US$ balance are supplied by us or by a third-party supplier identified at the point of redemption. Availability, specifications, and delivery estimates are those shown in the shop at the time of redemption and may change. Obtaining an item with your US$ balance is a supply of goods to you: where you are a consumer, those goods carry whatever guarantees, warranties or rights the consumer protection law applicable to you gives them, including as to quality, fitness for purpose, and correspondence with their description, and nothing in these Terms limits those rights or your remedies under them. Where an item cannot be supplied after you have redeemed for it, we will restore the amount debited from your US$ balance.
Some rewards are not a single item but a choice: the shop states a maximum value in United States dollars and a list of approved brands, and you select any model of an approved brand whose recommended retail price in your country is at or below that stated value. The stated value is a ceiling on what we will source, not a cash entitlement and not a valuation of what you receive. If you choose an item below the stated value, the difference is not paid to you, credited to you, or carried forward, and the full price is debited from your US$ balance. If no model of an approved brand is available at or below the stated value in your country, or the item you select cannot be supplied there, we will tell you and you may either choose again or cancel, in which case the amount debited is restored under clause 10. What the stated value covers, and what remains your responsibility — including any tax, duty, registration, insurance or delivery charge — is set out in that reward's own terms in the shop at the time you redeem. Clause 9.14 applies: we may require you to confirm your identity and address before an item of this kind is fulfilled.

If you send other members private messages from Community, you must not send spam, sell or promote anything, harass anyone, or ask anyone for personal details or payment details. Every message is checked automatically. You can report a conversation, and block the other person, at any time. We may hide a message, or close messaging for an account, that breaks these rules.
Posts on Community and private messages are checked automatically, by our own checks and by an AI model, against the Community rules and clause 11A. A post or message that clearly breaks them may be held for our team to review; one that might is marked for review and stays visible. A held post or message that our team does not restore within 48 hours counts as a strike against the account that wrote it, and so does one our team confirms. An account that gathers a number of strikes within a period we set has its posting on Community paused for a period we set, or until our team lifts the pause, and posting the same advert in several places can pause it at once. While its posting is paused, an account cannot start threads, reply, edit its posts or send private messages, but can still read, like and vote, and the Site shows until when the pause lasts. Our team may also pause an account's posting, or lift a pause, at any time.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the law applicable to you, or any liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Your mandatory rights under your local consumer protection law apply in addition to these Terms and prevail over them to the extent of any inconsistency. Subject to that: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, however arising; and our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in that period and one hundred United States dollars, or its equivalent in your local currency. Where the law applicable to you permits us to limit our liability for failure to comply with a statutory guarantee or warranty in respect of services, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
The service is operated internationally and is available in many countries. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from bringing a claim in any court that has jurisdiction under the consumer protection law applicable to you, or from making a complaint to a consumer protection regulator in your own country, and nothing in these Terms requires you to bring a claim anywhere other than where your local law entitles you to bring it. Before commencing proceedings, we each agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by contacting the other using the details at clause 14.
